Program
The Council of Gynecologic Endoscopy formally known as the Accreditation Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy (ACGE) retrospectively reviews physician’s case lists and randomly selected operative and pathology reports. The cases lists are analyzed based on surgical indications, types of procedures, and complications. Those physicians whose case list support the types of surgery they are performing are included in the registry.
There are currently over 1100 physicians registered with the CGE. Surgeons who consider themselves advanced in endoscopic surgery and can demonstrate sufficient case documentation may apply to be included in the registry.
Apply for the Registry
Gynecologic surgeons who are not current participants of the CGE program may apply to be listed in the registry. The requirements include 25 documented laparoscopic procedures and/or 15 documented hysteroscopic procedures.
