Affiliated Societies

Throughout its history the AAGL has encouraged the development of other national and local societies all over the world. Accordingly, the AAGL Affiliate Program was established allowing for certain benefits and support from the AAGL. Today, AAGL's affiliates include 33 societies from regions throughout the Americas, Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe.

Doctors who are members of international societies affiliated with the AAGL are eligible to join the AAGL and enjoy full membership benefits at reduced rates. To join the AAGL you may either download an application form  or click on Membership to the left to enroll online. Either way, you will be able to enjoy the benefits of membership in the premier assoication for gynecologists practicing minimally invasive gynecology.

Traditionally supportive of its affiliated societies' meetings, in 2007 the AAGL took its involvement to the next level by holding the first AAGL International Congress. Well-attended, the International Congress was a joint effort between AAGL and its affiliate, Societa Italiana di Endoscopia Ginecologica (SEGi). In 2008, the AAGL worked with its affiliate, Sociedade Brasileira de Endoscopia Ginecologica e Endometriose (SOBENGE) to hold the 2nd AAGL International Congress, held September of 2008 in Brazil. In 2009, we teamed up with the Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society for the 3rd International Congress in Brisbane, Australia. In 2010, we will hold the 4th Annual International meeting in Dobrovnik, Croatia working with the Croation Society for Gynecological Endoscopy of CMA.  Please plan to join us.
