EMIGS Cognitive Exam

An extensive MIGS-specific cognitive exam has been developed and ratified in an iterative fashion by subject matter experts. EMIGS Manual Skills Assessment

The exam consists of 5 laparoscopic tasks to be performed in a proprietary LaparoBowl (patent pending) to simulate operating in the pelvic cavity.
Includes these 5 Tasks:
L1 - Peg/Sleeve Transfer
L2 - Pattern Circle Cut
L3 - Extra-Corporeal Knot Tying
L4 - Intra-Corporeal Knot Tying
L5 - Running Suturing
